Rules
General Rules 1. No spamming. Spamming is either a Stupid, a Pointless or an Annoying message. Ex: "hi" "lol" "^_^" "im bored" Do not Spam. Spamming once will get you a verbal warning. Spamming after that, depending on how severe it is, may get you either more verbal warnings, or you will be awarded a nice new warning point. 2. No flaming. Flaming will not be tolerated. Flaming is a direct verbal attack on someone. Ex: "I swore you" "You suck" "go die bitch" This will get you a warning, if you do it once, possibly multiple warning if you flame severely. Do not do this. 3. No posting, and/or posting links to illegal ROM's, MP3's, or other illegal software. This will result in a permanent ban. 4. No posting, and/or posting links to porn of any kind. This will result in a permanent ban. 5. No multiple accounts. When you join, if you are a sibling of a member here, state that. Also, if you are a friend of a member here, and register on their computer, also state that. If you are caught with multiple accounts, you will be permanently banned. 6. No harassing members via AIM, MSN, Yahoo, or any other messaging programs. This can result in warnings, or more severe punishment. 7. No reviving topics more than 2 weeks old, unless you have a moderators permission. If a member does this multiple times, they will be warned. Reviving pinned topics is fine though. 8. No trolling. Trolling is putting up flame bait, and doing things that will get other members annoyed with you. This is just as bad as flaming, and you will be warned if you do it. Trolling DOES include using subtext and diction in order to try and cause trouble of any kind. There technically is no "line" for this, just the staff's judgement. 9. You may have ONE sprite topic, to show off your sprites. This topic is to be names the same as your username. Making multiple topics WILL result in a warning. You are allowed to post multiple times in a row, and revive your sprite topic, as long as you are posting new sprites. 10. No excessive cussing. Under these new rules, the word filters have been taken off, giving members more freedom. Do not abuse this though, and cuss as much are you can, just because you can. This will result in a warning point. 11. No advertising to members via PM, or any other messaging systems. This will result in a warning. If a member PM's you an advertisement, report it to a mod or admin. 12. No offensive usernames. This includes names discriminating against a race, flaming another member or forum, or other disrespectful names. This will result in 2 warning points, and a very bad start on Fraction Gaming. 13. Do not insult other members religion, or beliefs. They have a right to believe whatever they want. You may debate about religion in the forum however. 14. You are allowed to have 1, and only 1 introduction topic. If you make more than 1, you will be warned once for every extra one you make. 15. You must also abide to any rules in the invisionfree ToS, disobeying any of these could easily result in a permanent ban. 16. You must carry out all instructions issued by moderators or administrators or you will be punished.

Insubordination: This is when you do not follow a direct order issued to you by a Staff Memer. If a Moderator or Administrator tells you to do something (like shortening your Signature) you must follow through with his/her request or ask another Staff Member for a second opinion. If a Moderator tells you that your Signature is too long, for example, but another Moderator tells you that it's fine you may leave your Signature as it is. If both Staff Members complain about your Signature's length however, you must shorten it at that moment. No Multiple Posting: Multiple Posting is when you post back-to-back with one of your own post (in other words, you post immediately after your previous post). This can include Double Posting, Triple Posting, Quadruple Posting, and even higher. This is is not tolerated and never will be either. No Racist, Sexist or Prejudice Remarks: You are to make no racist, sexist or prejudice remakrs under any circumstances. We want a friendly and clean enviroment and you will be expected to not be racist, sexist or prejudice. No Disrespecting Staff Members: Do not disrespect the Admins and Mods of Fraction Gaming . These people help keep the Forums clean of rule-breakers, they do not need to be taught how to do their job or disrespected for doing what they think is right. Remember they have warning rights! No Flaming or Flame-Baiting: You are to not flame at all whilst on these Forums! Flaming is when you insult someone, and Flame-Baiting is when you provoke someone to flame you or another person. Both are suspendable events. No Off-Topic Posting: Please don't post off-topic to the subject of the thread or Board Catergory as it is very irritating. In some cases some amusement can release stress and in which case, helps but in most cases it's a real annoyance. Swearing: Swearing is permitted but we do ask to refrain from using it where possible or to at least keep it at a minimum. We also ask that you do not use extremely offensive words such as the "F-Word" (f**k) or the "C-Word" (c**t or c**k) to name a few. No Bright or Dark Coloured Posting: Please do not post in extremely dark or bright colours. If the Forums current skin os light then obviously, don't post in very bright colours, if the skin is dark then it's okay but it's not okay to post in dark colours on a dark skin. No Arguing With Staff Members: Staff Members have the power to warn, suspend and even ban you. I suggest you do not argue with the choices they make. If you're banned do not create a new account to abuse them but make a Ban Appeal in the Ban Appeal board and say you were banned unfairly. If you get warned or suspended then again, explain to another (Admin or Mod) that you were treated unfairly and we will deal with the situation. No Adult Content: Adult Content such as Pornography, Nudity, Sexual References or any other Explicit Material isn't tolerated. We wish to keep The Ownerz Forum a clean place and for all you know, there may be some 8 year old who's never heard of or seen a pornogrpahy picture or other adult content. No Malicious Software: Malware such as Spyware, Adware, Trojans, Keyloggers, Viruses, ect are not welcome. If uploading a file and you're not sure if it has a piece of malware in it then please check it or send it to a Staff Member to check it. We will not be responsible for any damage done to your computer for Viruses relaeased on the Forum without our knowledge. No Referral Links: Referral links are not welcome here, we do not want them at all as they attract Members to other websites and traffic avoids us which is unfair to us. You may however advertise a Websaite or Forum on the appropriate board or in your Signature but you're not to have a referral link in your Sig, Avatar or post on the Forum. Signature Limit: Signatures can only contain up to 100 characters, any more than that and you won't be able to apply such changes. You are also restricted from posting more than two images (you can add them but you'll be warned and the extra images will be removed). Please note that image dimensions are to be no bigger then 400x200, any larger than this and they will be removed, resized and put back in your Signature. Be Active!: Please be active so we can keep the Forum alive, and also please have fun while in these Forums. If you don't like something about the Forum then suggest to change it or if you want something added then suggest that as well, In the sugestions thread. Moderartors And Administartors want to change the rules please go to the managers and moderators area and post your changes in the apprpriate thread.
